An act relating to nurse registries; amending s.

400.506, F.S.; requiring each nurse registry to

display a specified disclaimer in a clear and
5
conspicuous manner on its website and all advertising
6
and marketing materials; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

Section 1. Subsection (21) is added to section 400.506,
11
Florida Statutes, to read:

400.506 Licensure of nurse registries; requirements;
13
penalties.—

(21) Each nurse registry must display, in a clear and
15
conspicuous manner on the homepage of its website and on the
16
face of all digital or print marketing and advertising
17
materials, the following disclaimer:
19
"All caregivers referred by this nurse registry are
20
independent contractors of the client, not employees
21
of either the nurse registry or the client."

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
