elections; amending ss. 145.051 and 145.09, F.S.;

increasing the base salaries of clerks of the circuit

court, county comptrollers, and supervisors of

elections; providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

Section 1. Subsection (1) of section 145.051, Florida
12
Statutes, is amended to read:

145.051 Clerk of circuit court; county comptroller.—
14
(1) Each clerk of the circuit court and each county
15
comptroller shall receive as salary the amount indicated, based
16
on the population of his or her county. In addition, a
17
compensation shall be made for population increments over the
18
minimum for each population group, which shall be determined by
19
multiplying the population in excess of the minimum for the
20
group times the group rate. Pop. Base Group Rate Group County Pop. Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 145.09, Florida

Statutes, is amended to read:

145.09 Supervisor of elections.—

(1) Each supervisor of elections shall receive as salary
