AIA technologist or technician applicant who meets the federal personnel requirements for high complexity testing is deemed to have satisfied Florida's minimum qualifications for a license to perform that same testing.

AIAn applicant relying on the federal-standard deeming provision must still provide proof of that qualification, undergo Florida background screening, and pay the state license fees to actually be licensed.

AIThe same deeming shortcut for moderate complexity testing is written to cover only technician applicants who meet the matching federal standard, not technologist applicants.

AIBoth the high and moderate complexity deeming provisions apply only except as otherwise provided in s. 483.812, meaning that separate statute can override this shortcut.
