2 An act relating to faith-based content in batterers'

3 intervention programs; amending s. 741.325, F.S.;

4 specifying that batterers' intervention programs may

5 include faith-based activities, but may not require

6 participation in such activities; providing an

7 effective date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11 Section 1. Paragraph (f) is added to subsection (1) of

12 section 741.325, Florida Statutes, to read:

13 741.325 Requirements for batterers' intervention

14 programs.—

15 (1) A batterers' intervention program must meet the

16 following requirements:

17 (f) A program may offer supplemental faith-based

18 activities to participants; however, participation in such

19 activities may not be required as part of the program.

20 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
